Spooky Suds - Lush Halloween 2018 Haul

Halloween is easily my favourite holiday, and not just because I'm an October baby myself. I get the decorations out by the 1st of the month, and live my pumpkin spice life to the fullest.

That said, I always look forward to Lush Cosmetics' seasonal releases. Their limited edition Halloween line recently hit the shelves, and now that I have a bathtub I admittedly went a little overboard on my last visit. Like I said before, pumpkin spice up your life, baby!

With my bath stash fully stocked up for the rest of the spooky season, I figured I'd share what I bought in case you wanted to indulge in some festive bathtime fun, too!
But hurry, because these goodies won't be in stores for long!

Eyeball Bath Bomb - $7.95 CAD

This gruesome-looking bath bomb would make for a perfect Halloween after-party cure because of it's lavender and rose base. It's basically the best notes of Sex Bomb & Twilight...but spooky!

Can I also just say I find it hilarious that the bloodshot eyeball bath bomb is meant for a deeply relaxing soak in the tub. You always know how to tickle my funny bone, Lush! But in all seriousness, I'll be saving this one for those sleepless nights to come once!

Bewitched Bubble Bar - $6.95 CAD

As a cat lady and Halloween enthusiast, this was an absolute must-have for me for obvious reasons.
It's almost too cute to crumble up, but the fruity bubbles are worth it in the end!

I also love how economical the Lush Bubble Bars are, because they can be chopped up for multiple uses. A little piece goes a long way to get tons of frothy bubbles, too!

Ectoplasm Shower Cream - $9.95 CAD- 100 ml, $19.95 CAD-250 ml, or $29.95 CAD-500 ml

Since I try to reserve bath time for self-care evenings, I wanted to incorporate some Halloween fun into my shower routine. A neon green shower cream that'll make you want to bust out and sing the Ghostbusters theme, is exactly what I need! Its citrus-y scent is an invigorating one; great for mornings when you're feeling a little zombie-esque!

This fruity fragrance also comes in the Naked Shower Cream format if you're looking to reduce waste, as well as a Jelly Bomb, Solid Perfume, and Wash Card.

Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar - $6.95 CAD

While I'm a little disappointed this doesn't have a pumpkin spice scent, it makes up for it in glittery goodness. I've always been quite fond of citrus scents, so the juniperberry, grapefruit, and lime trio makes for a bright and uplifting bath. Plus the bathwater hue reminds me of warm apple cider!

If you're a fan of the Sunnyside Bubble Bar but want something more on-theme for Halloween, definitely add this cutie to your cart!

Scrub Scrub Scrub Shower Scrub - $17.95 CAD- 330g, or $29.95- 660g

This isn't technically part of the Halloween line, but it was released at the same time so I'm including it (it's black, it fits the aesthetic - sue me).

I was absolutely delighted to see a new blackcurrant-scented product hit the shelves, because I'm still not over Lush retiring their You Snap The Whip Body Butter, Space Girl Bath Bomb, & Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly. If you remember those products as fondly as I do, you'll likely love this product for it's fragrance alone.

Lush scrubs are always a favourite for me, as they have just the right amount of coarseness while still nourishing the skin. The charcoal and salt base makes for a great exfoliant in preparation for the inevitable winter dryness to come (my apologies for reminding you all that winter is coming).

Ghost In The Dark Soap - $6.95 CAD

Lush never ceases to amaze me with their playful innovations. This soap glows in the dark!! HOW COOL IS THAT?!

This spooky little soap bar is loaded with fair trade organic cocoa butter and coconut oil, so it won't dry you out at every handwash. Plus the fragrance reminds me of Fruit Loops cereal, which makes me love it even more. It makes a mundane routine that much more fun!
By the way, did I mention it GLOWS IN THE DARK?!?!

Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb - $7.75 CAD

This is a cult-fave that is sure to sell out; so whether it's your first or fifteenth soak with this fizzer, you best add it to your cart ASAP! I'm not normally one to reach for spicy, herbal scents, but this one is so warm and inviting I couldn't resist seeing what all the hype was about.

Lord of Misrule changes from a ghoulish green to a devilish wine red in the tub. Combined with the patchouli, vanilla & black pepper oil ingredients, it makes this a sultry soak for the spooky season.

Are you planning a Lush Halloween haul, too? What products will you be trick or treating for? Let me know in the comments!
