A Bright Start With Pixi Beauty's Vitamin C Line

Recently I was introduced to a colleague of my mom's, and she gave me one of the nicest compliments I've ever received.

Of course I was extremely flattered. Though little did she know, I had been up 3 or 4 times with Elliott that night and needed 2 big cups of coffee just to pretend that I was a functioning adult. So how did I pull it off?

Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Tonic - $20 CAD

If you already have a well-established skincare routine but want to dip your toes into this juicy line, this tonic is a great intro product to try.

It's a great toner to use after cleaning and before your moisturizer, because it essentially primes your skin for hydration while infusing its barrier with added protection. Much like the other tonics in Pixi's range, this works as a gentle exfoliant to wipe away dullness and reveal more luminous skin.

Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Lotion - $34 CAD

My husband loved Pixi's Rose line (he is to blame for using up the last of my Rose Ceramide Cream) and has claimed this moisturizer for himself. I can't even be mad though, because it has given his skin a gorgeous, healthy glow that only makes his tan look even more radiant. Actually, I am mad; that man can get a golden tan within 5 seconds of being outside, and here I am turning 50 shades of pink. Rude.

Anyway, this lotion is a great everyday moisturizer because it, much like the aforementioned Rose Cream, is rich without being heavy. My husband also wants me to point out that it smells delicious (actually this entire range smells like a creamsicle dream).

Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Serum - $34 CAD

A few drops of this liquid gold and you'll be a glistening goddess. If you need an extra hit of hydration in your routine, reach for this stuff. While I enjoy it on its own, I love it even more mixed in with my daily moisturizer. It makes my skin even more soft and supple, and the glow is UNREAL.

Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Juice Cleanser - $24 CAD

This product totally caught me off guard in the best way possible. The idea of a waterless cleanser kind of threw me for a loop, but once I gave it a whirl I was hooked!

I love to start my day by swiping this on my face with a cottonpad. It's a great way to wipe off any nighttime grime without overwashing or stripping your face. It's so invigorating like a tall glass of freshly squeezed OJ. Plus it sets the scene for the rest of my skincare and/or makeup.

Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Caviar Balm - $34 CAD

I think it's safe to say this will be a night owl's holy grail, because it will get you glowing faster than you can hit the snooze button.

This caviar balm is essentially the Vitamin C Lotion on steroids. It is packed with little pearls that melt into the skin and release a radiant dose of vitamin C for the glowiest, gleamiest, gorgeousiest (it's a word) skin of your life. I've started using this as my night cream because I wake up looking like I actually slept, which we all know now is a straight up lie. Secret's out.
