New Glow-y Goodies from Pixi Beauty - Liquid Fairy Lights & Glow-Y Gossamer Duo Highlighters Review & Swatches

I am a self-professed highlighter addict. It is my absolute favourite beauty product, and I more than often go overboard with how much glow I apply. A girl can't help it (and I know I'm not alone)!
Even on days where I go make-up free, I can't help but add a little shimmer to brighten up my visage. It's an instant pick-me-up; you can't help but feel fabulous when the light hits your cheekbones and you reflect like a shimmering goddess.

Seriously.  The obsession is real, folks.

These new releases from Pixi Beauty are scintillatingly shimmery!

To my delight, I recently received the brand new Liquid Fairy Lights glimmery shadows and Glow-y Gossamer Duo highlighters from Pixi Beauty. Sparkle fanatics can start jumping for joy over these new releases, because they are stunning!

The Glow-y Gossamer Duo highlighters are officially my new favourites. These are said to give a 'lit from within luminosity', and that is the absolute truth. You'll be shining bright like a diamond with these on. They are incredibly long-wearing and give a gorgeous metallic, wet-looking reflect to the skin. I especially enjoy how buildable these are; so depending on if you want a subtle-shimmer or you want to be full-on blinding, you can add as much or as little as you'd like.

Pixi Beauty Glow-Y Gossamer Highlighter in 'Subtle Sunrise'
The first shade, Subtle Sunrise, has more of a golden-peachy tone; The darker shade wears better as an eye-shadow than a highlighter for me, as I'm simply a bit too pale for this shade. That said, I think this would look especially beautiful on those with deeper skintones.

Pixi Beauty Glow-Y Gossamer Duo Highlighter in 'Delicate Dew'

Delicate Dew has been on high rotation for me since it arrived in the mail. The soft rose gold tones are so flattering on me, and I love adding extra dimension by layering the two shades together.
On one occasion I not only put this on my cheekbones, my cupids bow and below my brows, but on my shoulders and collarbone as well! It's summertime and my décolletage needs some glow, too!

Pixi Beauty Liquid Fairy Lights Glimmery Shadows - $20 CAD each
Top to bottom: Crystalline, SunRay, RoseGold, BareBrilliance, & PassionLight.
The new Liquid Fairy Lights glimmery eyeshadows are an instant favourite for me, as well. T If you've ever wanted to play with glitter and not have to fuss around with special glues or loose pigments, you're going to LOVE these.

Much like the highlighters, they are very buildable. You can wear them on their own, or as a shadow topper. I personally like to apply a dab or two to the centre of my lid and blend out with my fingertips to diffuse.  I especially love the shades Crystalline (a clear iridescent glitter) and RoseGold (the name says it all). I should also mention that they don't crease or budge at all!!

If you've been eyeing the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows but can't justify the price, this is a wonderful comparative drugstore option!
