Ding dong! Some goodies from my friends at Pixi Beauty landed on my doorstep some time ago and I'm excited to FINALLY share all the details with you!

If you saw me unbox this adorable package a a while, I am SO sorry for the delay. Finding a new rhythm during this pandemic has been difficult. While I'm familiar with trying to balance this blog alongside a full-time job, having to do that AND care for a very rambunctious toddler definitely leaves you exhausted by 7pm.
That said, this little writing pause allowed me to give this product lineup a very in-depth review process, as I've been reaching for these products daily for the last 2 months.
You're all very welcome.

The cutest carton of skincare, courtesy of Pixi Beauty! Meet the Hydrating Milky Collection!
Contrary to what Ron Burgundy says; Milk is a very good choice.
Especially when it comes to skincare.

It seems the folks at Pixi knew my skin has been super thirsty after all the drying acne treatments I've been using lately. So if you also have if you have dry & sensitive skin, have I got the lineup for you!
Enter the Hydrating Milky Collection. This skincare lineup was designed to go hand-in-hand with the one & only Hydrating Milky Mist. If you're a fan of this facial spray, get excited.

Here are some of my fave products from Pixi's Hydrating Milky Collection that my skin has been drinking up lately!

Hydrating Milky Cleanser - $18

If you're in the market for a gentle, everyday cleanser, look no further. This frothy, sumptuous creme cleanser feels like a dream on the skin. I've been alternating between this & a salicylic acid cleanser (what up, hormonal breakouts) and it does a great job of removing any excess dirt & oil without stripping my face of moisture. Whether your skin is normal, dry or combination, you really can't go wrong if you take one of these tubes home.

Hydrating Milky Lotion - $34 CAD

I'll be honest, I didn't immediately love this because I found it wasn't as hydrating as my face needed it to be. That said, I'm a big believer in second chances and I didn't want this tube to go to waste.

That's when I learned this moisturizer doubles as a body lotion, and my skin couldn't be happier! A little dollop on my legs post-shower leaves them nourished and smooth all day long. It's very lightweight without a hint of greasiness; if I could bathe in this stuff, I surely would.

Hydrating Milky Tonic - $20 CAD

As mentioned, I'm dealing with a stubborn bout of acne that I've been tackling with a cocktail of salicylic acid products. Unfortunately, it tends to leave my combination skin even more unbalanced than usual. Thankfully, this Tonic does a great job of rehdyrating my dry areas and setting the stage for my moisturizer to be its best. If you've been searching for a soothing toner that's safe for sensitive skin, this is formulated with oat extract so it's super nourishing and extremely gentle.

Hydrating Milky Peel - $34 CAD

If you're short on time but want glowing, baby soft skin, you'll be fast friends with this mask. I'm more partial to chemical exfoliators these days but Pixi's peels have never done me wrong when I need to scrub off some crusty, dry patches.

Since it works in just 2-3 minutes, I like to apply this in a thin layer right before popping into the shower. Once the water is warmed up to your liking, start to rinse it off while massaging it in circles to gently slough off any dullness. Emerge feeling radiant & silky smooth.

Hydrating Milky Serum -  $34 CAD

This is easily my most favourite product in this collection. I haven't met a Pixi Beauty serum I didn't like, but it was love at first drop with the Hydrating Milky Serum. Folks, this is glossy, dewy skin in a bottle. In comparison to the Vitamin-C Serum & Rose Oil Blend, this has a thicker & more viscous consistency so it won't immediately run down your face if directly applied.

Personally, I love to mix a drop or two into my regular moisturizer if I'm feeling particularly parched. Another great magic trick of mine is to add a bit to your foundation - You'll get that 'lit from within' glow you've always dreamed of.

You can find the Pixi Beauty Hydrating Milky Collection at your local Shoppers Drug Mart, or online through the Shoppers Beauty Boutique.
